NEW SCOOP - Praise Report!!!

I'm so amazed and encouraged as I read down through the blog journal to see how God is working in and through all of us as we walk by faith and not by sight in this new ministry God has called us to bring forth.

I want to encourage all of you that this is not a made up blog!!! This blog is a stream of evidence in how God is working out humanly impossible things around us. These kinds of circumstances can happen to your personal life too, if you just obey the calling God has placed on your heart:)

So here is the NEW SCOOP- Praise Report:)


Yesterday I got this email from Anne:

"Dear Elizabeth:

I joined up for your cause and made a pledge yesterday afternoon. I also sent you an email through your web site. I am starting a ministry for children too. We need to get our 501(c)3. I would love to talk to you about a partnership for promoting each other's ministry..."

I wrote back:

"Hi Anne:) I just checked out your awesome website:) It looks like God has given you a fantastic vision too to reach many children for Him. May we obey His call and reach many for Him!

In our statement of faith, we also believe that all the gifts that God has given to us are for today:) The reason I mention this is because Eric and I strongly believe that "all the gifts" that God gave to the church are essential to live out the full purpose of our life.

We would feel honored to become friends and pray about partnering with you. In fact, I want to partner with you right away, but want to ask God about everything first.

So please do the same. Pray about, check out our website and if you still truly feel God is leading us together to partner with each other let me know!

I'll post some links to your profile to learn more about us and what we have in facebook:)...I'm going to add your site to our old build on the rock website:)...

Again, please pray about the partnership and if God gives us both peace about it, then we will move forward:)"

She wrote back:

Thanks Beth. I too believe all the gifts of God are for today. It's included in our Statement of Faith under the "present ministry of the Holy Spirit." I will definitely be prayerful about the partnership, but will post your information to my site in the meantime.

I have been praying for a very long time on the ministry the Lord wanted me to sow a seed into... I've been praying since January (more fervently the past two weeks) on where to sow the seed. I knew I had to sow into a ministry that helped children. Yesterday when in prayer, the Lord gave me the scripture verse for the teen web site from Luke 6:48. I was working on the web sites and bylaws. When I went into my facebook I was drawn to your request and then when I saw the same scripture the Lord gave me just a short time earlier I knew your ministry was where I was to sow.

We will be tithing 10% from all our contributions. If the Lord allows us to partner, I would like your ministry to be one that we sow into on a regular basis. I love the work you plan on doing and I too pray we are faithful and obedient to His call. Sometimes it's hard to wait to get into the fullness of His calling, but since waiting is actually faith in action I guess we're in the best place we can be.
