A while back God told Eric and I to personally send some money to monthly support some orphans that Pastor Victor cares for. We have been, but Pastor Victor is burdened to shelter and feed 5 more. He already takes care of 18 people in his household, pastors 2 churches and has founded El-Shaddai Ministries and is not sure if he can provide for them as well. What do you think we should do? What would you do if you were Pastor Victor and saw 5 kids that needed shelter and food...This is a conversation Pastor Victor and I had over Skype today.[11:02:23 AM] Eric William Shoop: I'm excited to hear about what God is doing in your ministry:)

[11:05:43 AM] Victor Samuel: We have 10 boys now and there are 5 boys who really need shelter and food.
[11:06:03 AM] Eric William Shoop: do have funds to take care of them?
[11:06:37 AM] Eric William Shoop: we can't give any more than we are, but we can pray:)
[11:07:54 AM] Victor Samuel: We are seriously thinking and praying for them and I trust God will provide their essentials. I didn't say YES to them but praying for them and if God leads let's invite them to our care. That is why I am asking your suggestion
[11:09:20 AM] Victor Samuel: As you know, it is very hard to lead this orphanage with 10 boys
[11:10:06 AM] Victor Samuel: We are giving food sufficiently when you start support for them. God listened our prayers thru your kind support
[11:11:23 AM] Eric William Shoop: I just called Eric and Eric wants to ask: With what we are currently giving you, is it enough to support your current needs?
[11:14:21 AM] Victor Samuel: As we are receiving $77 every week, this amount is sufficient to feed all children and also sufficient to take some of their needs
[11:15:18 AM] Eric William Shoop: how much more would it take to support 5 more children?
[11:16:51 AM] Eric William Shoop: the cost
[11:16:56 AM] Eric William Shoop: additionally.
[11:17:25 AM] Victor Samuel: I think its costs around $40
[11:17:48 AM] Victor Samuel: $35 or $40 weekly
[11:17:48 AM] Eric William Shoop: for to take in 5 more, right?
[11:18:08 AM] Victor Samuel: Yes, per week
[11:19:50 AM] Eric William Shoop: ok. Eric is telling me the with God, there is always enough. We will pray about this and begin to share with friends and family this need.
[11:21:36 AM] Victor Samuel: Praise the Lord, Thank you my dear friends. We also pray about that He make it possible to feed some more children for His glory
[11:22:28 AM] Eric William Shoop: He doesn't want to turn any away. We just discussed that we can't help everyone, however, if we begin to pray that God sends us the people He wants us to minister to, God will in return do this and provide the needs to do so.

[11:24:31 AM] Eric William Shoop: so let's begin to pray specifically that God begins to send us who He wants us to minister too:)

[11:24:58 AM] Victor Samuel: Yes, Let's pray for this need
[11:26:23 AM] Eric William Shoop: yes. WE are humbled by the strong calling God has placed on our heart to do so. God will provide funds.
[11:27:54 AM] Eric William Shoop: He will use us to come up with creative ideas to do so and the necessary avenues to bring it forth:)
[11:28:22 AM] Victor Samuel: Yes, its truth, when we have a heart for His ministry and obey to His call, Money will running after us
[11:29:09 AM] Eric William Shoop: yes. If you would please, I would ask that you put together some very current praise and prayer requests that we can share with our pastor and friends.
THE REASON I SHARE THIS WITH YOU: Eric's right, we can't help everyone. However, God made it clear to us today, that we must BE SPECIFIC IN OUR PRAYERS - We need TO ASK Him To SEND US THE CHILDREN He want us to minister too. If we pray this specific way, then not one child God sends our way will be left behind.

Eric's right, we can't help everyone and you can't help everyone. However, ask God to show you how specifically He wants you to play apart in this. Once Build On The Rock Ministries get a non-profit status there are many grants available to us. We will then be applying for them and praying that God will supply even greater funds.
