Not Looking For Just A Job, But A Call To Answer

I'm not sure many of you are aware that Eric lost his job at the beginning of May. This didn't come to a surprise to us really because Eric and I had set aside time the week prior to his job loss, to fast and pray for new direction in our life. Infact, Eric specifically prayed to God to prepare us for the next of where God wanted for us. He also asked God to specifically tell him whether or not he should continue at Smith Transport. The next week Smith Transport called him into the office and said, "We no longer have need for the position we hired you for."

This was a clear answer that Eric and I are ready for the next step He has in preparing us for what we continue to feel strongly called to work and plan towards fulfilling the Build On The Ministries mission and vision.

The other day, Eric made the statement, "It's not about look for just another job to pay our bills anymore, it's about answering God's call for our life.

As we continue to ask God to direct us God is leading us to hunt for houseparent employment. You can read an article about what that is by reading our article, "Houseparent Employment Wanted"

Please pray with us for that God would give us the spirit of wisdom and knowledge of Him
and open our eyes of understanding, so we will know our hope and calling. Eph. 1:15-23.

Next week we are planning on doing more thorough research on houseparent employment around our area and beyond.
